When Logan was released in theaters earlier this year, fans instantly fell in love with Dafne Keen' portrayal of Laura, aka X-23, in her big-screen debut. Well, there was another young and immensly talented actress up for the part opposite Hugh Jackman - Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.
During one of Variety's 'Actors on Actors' interviews, Brown exchanged questions with fellow actress Evan Rachel Wood, who stars in HBO's Westworld and also has three names. When Wood asked Brown about the best auditions she'd been in, the young actress immediately brought up Logan.
Brown revealed that she was able to go in for an audition to play the role of Laura, and she was there with Hugh Jackman and director James Mangold.
"It meant so much to me," Brown told her counterpart. "I was like 'This is going to be amazing, I'm going to really prepare.' I sat in my room and reading the lines. Honestly, for me, I felt like an actor. In that audition room hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me. It was one of the best auditions."
The part ultimately went to Keen, who Brown acknowledged was fantastic in the movie. We're certainly not complaining about the movie, but how crazy would it have been if Eleven from Stranger Things would have fought side-by-side with Wolverine?
Logan is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital
