For Throwback Thursday, the official Twitter account for Netflix's Daredevil posted a clip in which the Man Without Fear got owned by Madame Gao, and it produced a sarcastic responses from Luke Cage's official Twitter account.
In the clip, which is from the show's first season, Daredevil is in his makeshift costume and confronts Madame Gao. And when he demands she tell him about Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin, Gao busts out her martial arts skills. With a strike to the chest, she sends Daredevil flying and flat on his back.
Replying to the video, the Luke Cage account tweeted: "You scared of a little old lady?"
Two-minutes later, the Daredevil account simply responded in all-caps: "YUP."
Since Luke Cage has met Madame Gao yet, though that will probably change in The Defenders, you can understand why he underestimates Gao as a "little old lady." Just because walks with a cane and a limp, the heroin dealer is far from vulnerable as she wants you to think she is. Daredevil and Iron Fist now know it is unwise to underestimate the four-centuries old Hand leader.

Marvel's The Defenders is developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The miniseries will also feature Sigourney Weaver as the villain, Alexandra (Sigourney Weaver), and several recurring guest stars from Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Jessica Jones, Marvel's Luke Cage, and Marvel's Iron Fist, including Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Simone Missick as Misty Knight, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing.
The mini-series stars Charlie Cox as Daredevil/Matt Murdock, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
The Defenders premieres on Netflix August 18.
Though it is unconfirmed at this moment, it was reported that Daredevil's third season will debut in 2018 alongside the second seasons of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.
