Matt Mueller: Wonder Woman #25

It's finally time to say goodbye...(sigh).

The talented team of Greg Rucka, Liam Sharp, and Bilquis Evely bring their amazing run on Wonder Woman to a close in the special anniversary issue. Combining the threads from The Lies, Year One, The Truth, and Godwatch, the new issue will set the table for another year's worth of Wonder Woman stories from the new creative team.

Rather sad to see them go, but fans can enjoy one more issue that will put a bow on one of the Amazon Warrior's strongest arcs ever.

Charlie Ridgely: Jean Grey #3

Seriously, Namor is the worst.

The King of Atlantis has no spine, but that doesn't keep him from posturing to an obscene level. Unfortunately for Jean Grey, she will need to seek out his help as she attempts to stave off the oncoming threat of the Phoenix, but that will probably not turn out like she hopes.

Solutions and Namor are like telepaths and the Phoenix, they don't mix.

Well, actually that's not an apt comparison, as the latter just incinerates planets and mankind.

If you're ever curious why people are paranoid of the government, look no further than Namwolf #3.

Marty is still coming to grips with the fact that he's a Werewolf, which isn't something easily reconciled. Now the government sees an opportunity, and they're looking to draft Marty into the program with or without his permission.

Suffice it to say, Marty's opinion of old Uncle Sam is about to go far, far down the drain. For their sake, they better hope he doesn't get free, or things are going to get messy really quickly.

Anytime General Zod comes to Metropolis things get complicated incredibly quickly, but this is just getting out of hand.

Zod decided to throw a shindig (yep, totally said shindig) for some of Superman's deadliest enemies and is leading an army against the Kryptonian that includes Cyborg Superman, Eradicator, Mongul, Blanque, and Metallo. The cards are enormously stacked against big blue, and it will likely get worse before it gets better.

You know, that Zod's a real jerk sometimes.

Action Comics #982 is written by Dan Jurgens with art by Viktor Bogdanovic and covers by Patrick Zircher and Gary Frank. The official description can be found below.
