This meme wasn't going to be any of our business until Sony Pictures went ahead and incorporated it in the marketing for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The popular Kermit the Frog meme which is often attached to the caption, "But that's none of my business," has now been applied to Marvel's wallcrawler. In the new meme posted by the official Spider-Man Twitter account, Spidey is seen sipping tea saying, "I heard someone lost his shield. But that's none of my business."
This is a clear reference to Spider-Man thieving Captain America's shield in Captain America: Civil War which hit theaters over a year ago. Paired with Peter Parker's sarcastic persona, the meme practically wrote itself.

The events of Captain America: Civil War and other Marvel films will heavily influence the events of Spider-Man: Homecoming.
"It's not coming down in any way," Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts said of the Easter eggs and connections to the MCU in his film. "It's more like you're just a bunch of people sitting around writing fan fiction. I remember the initial list of all of the stuff in that scene when Happy's talking about the magic belt. Chris Warden and I, who wrote that part of the movie, we wrote up just a page long monologue of all the things that they could have. It was basically a page-long monologue of Easter eggs."
Ultimately, the page long monologue was limited to three items which will be seen and heard by audiences who watch Homecoming in a couple of weeks.
"There's no dictates really," Watts said. "It's more just the ball is in my court to come up with as many fun things as I could, and just see how many we can squeeze into the movie, because everyone is just a fan. You're working with the biggest fans in the world basically, so all of that stuff is welcomed."
