Jamie Foxx is no stranger to the Marvel Universe, but what if he took on the role of everyone's favorite vampire hunter Blade?
That's the premise of artist BossLogic's latest piece, which puts Foxx in the role of Marvel's Blade. Blade has remained a favorite over the years, and as seen in the image Foxx looks like he could bring a certain charm and intensity to the role.
Foxx last participated in the Marvel Universe in Amazing Spider-Man 2, where he played Electro. The movie wasn't as well received as Sony hoped though, and thus the Spidey universe was retooled into the one seen in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
As for Blade, Wesley Snipes portrayed the vampire hunter through three relatively profitable films. Blade would later receive a tv series as well, but that was canceled after one season. Recent rumors have put Blade in the development stage for Marvel's Netflix universe, but nothing has been heard on that front for some time.
So, are you up for a Jamie Foxx Blade? Take a look at BossLogic's rendition in the gallery.
Next up for Sony is Spider-Man: Homecoming, which currently has a 4.14 out of 5 onComicBook.com's anticipation rankings, and you can view the full description below.
