Marvel hasn’t rolled out any official theatrical posters for Avengers: Infinity War just yet, but some fans have a pretty solid idea of what the first poster should look like.
The poster is pretty simple in concept. It features a golden Avengers logo with the tagline “Assemble 2018” etched into the arrow the crosses the “A.” Outer space can be seen in the background. The gold color of the logo references the Infinity Gauntlet and there’s a hint of purple in the bottom left corner as a reference to Thanos. Take a look below.
The style of the poster is keeping in the pattern of previous Avengers teaser posters. The original Marvel’s The Avengers had a poster with the same oversized logo and “Assemble 2012” written on the arrow, but done in gray and black colors.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron teaser poster used the same oversized logo concept, but made the logo metallic and red to reflect Ultron, the film's villain. It also changed the tagline to “Assemble 2015,” as seen below.
Avengers: Infinity War will bring the Avengers together with the Guardians of the Galaxy and create some exciting new friendships among the many, many Marvel heroes involved in the battle against Thanos and the Black Order. The film's story is apparently so exciting that even some of the stars are trying to avoid spoiling the ending. Meanwhile, fans who couldn't go to this summer's major industry conventions really would just like to see the Avengers: Infinity War trailer.
Meanwhile, the fourth Avengers movie has already begun filming. Exactly how many of earth's mightiest heroes remain after the first showdown with Thanos is unclear.
