Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Has One Impossible Easter Egg

Much like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1, the Vol. 2 sequel contains a hidden and still undiscovered Easter egg.

Director James Gunn has, for years, been teasing the existence of an Easter egg in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy film. Thousands of fans have taken shots at identifying it but every one of those fans has been off the mark according to Gunn. Now, with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on blu-ray, those fans have another movie to skim for another Easter egg.

"There absolutely is," another Easter egg in Vol. 2 according to Gunn. "Just as hidden, just as secret, and actually harder to find."

For those who are unaware of the Easter egg business, Gunn has a concise recap of his constant teases. "There's a very secret, hidden Easter egg in Guardians Vol. 1, some people have gotten very, very close -- I'm thinking of you MT on YouTube -- who have gotten very, very close to what that Easter egg is," Gunn said. "Maybe, you've even found, partially, the Easter egg and I haven't said, 'Yes, you found it!' because you haven't found the whole thing yet. So, you need to find the entire Easter egg for me to say, 'Yes, you've found it.' It's there, it's already been partially uncovered so you just need to find the whole thing."

Set to the backdrop of 'Awesome Mixtape #2,' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
