The geek formerly known as Nicolas Coppola took Cage as his professional surname in honor of Marvel's Luke Cage.

BossLogic used Netflix's real Luke Cage poster as the template for this hilarious mashup idea, including actor Mike Colter’s real upper body and arms with a serious-faced Cage carefully edited in. The artist's work is so precise that he somehow manages to combine the two Cages without Nic being in blackface and without Luke being whitewashed.
Comments on BossLogic's post joked that the plot of a Nic Cage series would likely be a mashup of plots from the actor's previous work all we really know is that Nic Cage as a Luke Cage-style hero looks like a far better show than Cage's doomed Superman Lives.
