Waiting anxiously for Thor: Ragnarok? Same here, but these amazing LEGO posters should make the wait a little easier.
Thor: Ragnarok is just starting to ramp up its promotional tour, which has resulted in a bevy of slick new posters from the anticipated superhero epic. The newest set focused on the primary characters from the film, giving fans posters of Loki, Thor, Hela, Hulk, Valkyrie, Odin, Heimdall, and The Grandmaster, each coming with its own color scheme.
@Loki_Lego of Future Ruler of Midgard decided to recreate the new visuals with a LEGO theme, and yes, somehow they got even better. Standouts include Valkyrie, Heimdall, Hela, and of course Hulk, who is just as menacing and angry in LEGO form as he looks in the film.
Oddly enough, the Grandmaster poster now looks very much like someone who works at H&R Block. Who knows, maybe that's the Grandmaster's backstory. From processing taxes to ruling a planet. Pretty inspiring right? Expect it to hit the Hallmark channel in 2018.
You can view some of the posters in the gallery, but for more, you can head to @Loki_Lego's website.
Thor: Ragnarok will be much lighter in tone than Thor: The Dark World and part of that
"Yeah, Thor spent two years on Earth hanging out with Robert Downey, Jr," Waititi told Collider. "So he’s got some sass. He knows a little bit more about irony and sarcasm now. He’s got a little bit of Earth humor."
This is more of a return to form actually, as there was significant humor in the original Thor film. It was one of the film's strongest aspects, and Waititi saw Thor's time around the other Avengers as a way to bring that back in.
"He’s like a rich kid from outer space that’s spent some time slumming it for a bit, you know?" Waititi added. "So he’s instantly become a bit more interesting. But because he’s in different parts of the cosmos, he’s still learning as he goes."
Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3, 2017.
