If you love Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Funko Pop! collectibles then the latest animated Funko Short might be your new favorite thing.

Funko released its latest Marvel short, Cosmic Sleigh Ride, on Twitter yesterday. The animated clip is just under two minutes long and sends Star-Lord and Baby Groot on a hilarious sled ride as they attempt to escape Taserface, who was hired by the Collector to, well, collect Groot. You can watch the short below.

The short is the first in the second "season" of Funko and Marvel Animation's collaboration which kicked off last November with an adventure pitting Spider-Man and Iron Man against Loki entitled Spellbound. More of the shorts are on the horizon as well. Marvel's Senior Vice President of Animation & Family Entertainment recently told the Huffington Post that there's a Funko Short coming up that will feature Hulk and Black Widow.

"From a storytelling perspective, there's one coming up with Hulk and Black Widow that's a personal favorite of mine which plays on their interesting relationship.," Lane said. "I love those two characters because there's such contrast there. I don't want to reveal too much about this comedy short in advance. What I will say is that they're on a spy mission and Hulk isn't so great at spy missions."

Fortunately, fans won't have to wait for that Hulk/Widow short for the next Marvel and Funko mashup. Funko recently unveiled its line of Marvel Comics-inspired exclusives for the upcoming New York Comic Con next week.
