Exclusive 'Thor: Ragnarok' HeroClix Preview: Heimdall And Valkyrie

Fans can soon battle through the last days of Asgard with the new Marvel HeroClix: Thor: Ragnarok set from WizKids Games, and ComicBook.com two exclusives figure previews from the set.

First up is Heimdall, the stalwart sentinel who guards the Bifrost. At 100 points, Heimdall has a trait titled "Sounding the Call of Gjallerhorn" which reads, "POWER: Once per game, remove an action token from all friendly characters within 6 squares with the Asgardian keyword." The trait makes him a great team player on an Asgardian themed team.

Heimdall's also has a special power in his damage slot called "Eyes on Asgard," reading "Probability Control. Opposing characters within 4 squares and line of fire can't use Probability Control."

Heimdall's standard powers include Charge, Blades/Claws/Fangs, Sidestep, Close Combat Expert, Quake, Invulnerability, and Toughness, which all make him a dangerous close combat combatant.

Our second preview is Valkyrie. Priced at just 50 points, Valkyrie makes sure that your other figures are always capable of returning what your opponent dishes out with the "Inspiration in the Heat of Battle" trait. The trait reads, "Friendly characters within 4 squares modify attack and damage +1 if they were damaged during the previous turn."

Valkyrie's standard powers include Sidestep, Charge, Blades/Claws/Fangs, Toughness, Combat Reflexes, and Close Combat Expert, making her another close quarters threat for Asgardian themed teams or other forces.

Heimdall and Valkyrie are just two of 16 brand new HeroClix figures based on the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok movie. Marvel HeroClix: Thor: Ragnarok goes on sale on October 11, 2017.
