'Agents of SHIELD': "All the Comforts of Home" Preview Released

Marvel Television and ABC have released a preview for the return of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.

The next episode of Agents of SHIELD is titled "All the Comforts of Home." The episode finds that the SHIELD team has made it through the Kree monolith and back to their own time. However, things aren't much better for them. After the world saw a life model decoy of Daisy "Quake" Johnson try to murder General Talbot, the agents of SHIELD are now America's most wanted fugitives.

The team tasked with bringing SHIELD in seems to be pulling out all of the stops, including sending out a mysterious masked woman to take them in.

The episode will guest star Disney Channel star Dove Cameron, who will make her debut as a character named Ruby. Little is known about Ruby at this point other than that she is clever, the daughter of a high-ranking official at the Blue Raven military base, and fascinated with Quake.

The SHIELD team has even bigger problems looming in the background. They know that the world will soon come to an end. They know that Quake will supposedly be the one responsible for destroying the planet. Yo-Yo knows even more. She knows that Phil Coulson is dying, and she knows that trying to save him is destined to cause the end of the world.

SHIELD has been stuck in a time loop where they travel to the future only to return and watch the world end all over again. Is there a way to break this cycle?

"All the Comforts of Home" will be the 99th episode of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, meaning there's not long to wait until Agents of SHIELD hits that 100th episode milestone, which will be a "significant event" according to Marvel Television head Jeph Loeb.

"Look, this is not going to come as a surprise to anyone that's ever seen a 100th episode, that there will be a significant event," Loeb told ComicBook.com. "That's all I can tell you. They gotta get home from space!"

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is on hiatus during February. The series returns to ABC on March 2nd.
