This is why people can't have nice things. Granted, most people don't have access to giant prehistoric Zords that can lay waste to massive monsters, but hey, it's the same concept.
In the newest clip from Power Rangers (which is currently enjoying a 3.52 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings), Alpha 5 gives the Ranger's the grand tour the command center, but it seems Zack didn't get the memo about driving the Zords. Thanks to Zack being a bit overzealous, fans get to see the Mastodon Zord up close, with it's updated six leg design. While they may be large, they seem to move with overall precision, unless of course, the driver has no idea how to operate. In that case, even a Ferrari would handle like a tank.

Director Dean Israelite recently described why they chose to update the design, specifically with the multiple legs. Israelite said "The idea is the Zords are machines that take on the form of the most powerful organisms of the planet they're on. When these Zords came to Earth, dinosaurs reigned supreme and so they took on the image and the spirit of these dinosaurs - that's the mythology that we've put into the movie. But in the concept that we've created they're meant to be inspired by those animals - not an actual, literal, version of it, and so we decided we wanted to take certain liberties, too."
"Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late."
Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).
