Get ready for another dose of undead fun as Resident Evil: Vendetta, the series' latest CGI film, hits home video today (July 18). The movie got a one-night theatrical release on June 19, but for most of us, this is our first opportunity to take in the latest adventures of Chris Redfield, Leon Kennedy, and Rebecca Chambers.

You can check out a new gruesome behind-the-scenes clip, courtesy of Crunchyroll, above. The clip features producer Takashi Shimizu talking about the benefit of working with CGI when making a horror movie, but it's also packed with great gobs of gory footage. As we've seen previously, Resident Evil: Vendetta is definitely an R-rated take on the franchise that doesn't pull any punches.

Here's how Capcom describes Resident Evil: Vendetta:

Resident Evil: Vendetta the third installment in the massively popular CG animated film franchise. Based on Capcom's Resident Evil, one of the bestselling video game franchises of all time, Resident Evil: Vendetta features fan-favorite characters Leon S. Kennedy (Matt Mercer), Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) and Rebecca Chambers (Erin Cahill). The film is executive produced by Takashi Shimizu (The Grudge), written by Makoto Fukami (Psycho Pass), and directed by Takanori Tsujimoto (Bushido Man).

And here are the bonus features included in the Blu-ray release:
