Kiersey Clemons' Iris West Scene Cut From 'Justice League'

Early screenings are already taking place for Justice League, and it turns out a few people are missing from the latest cuts.

The new cut of the film is the first to surface since Joss Whedon took over for Zack Snyder, and sources told Batman News that a particular tie to Flashpoint has been cut out of the film. That tie is Kiersey Clemons' Iris West, who previously had a cameo in the film she herself once described as "f****** sick."

Iris wasn't the only character to get the boot either, as that same source also confirmed that Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor is also not in this version of the film.

Now, it's important to note that nowhere has this been described as the final version, but if those scenes were deemed not as important this early, it does seem far-fetched to think they would be added in. The good news though is that with Batman v Superman; Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. made previously cut cameos available in the ultimate edition, so hopefully, that also happens here.

Rumors have swirled around the reshoots for Justice League, with everything from a completely redone ending to new backstory for Steppenwolf thrown up as possible reasons. Whether or not those are true remain to be seen, but if there is substantial new footage for the film, it makes sense why these smaller cameos were cut.

It will be a bummer for Clemons, who had an amazing time on the set. "This November, I'm making a cameo in Justice League as Iris West and it's the first time that you meet her before we get to see her in The Flash with Ezra Miller," Clemons told Modeliste Magazine. "It was my first time doing something so extravagant like that. We filmed in London and that's one of my favorite places."

When fans do get to see it though, they're in for something special, according to Clemons.

"I know the parts that I did introducing Iris are f---ing sick. I can't wait to see the movie," Clemons said. "I'm so happy that I've been introduced to this genre because I didn't really have any type of desire to be a part of any superhero world. And then I stepped on the set of Justice League and I was like, "Holy s---. All right!"

Justice League hits theaters on November 17th.
