New Lost Season 5 Video Contains Easter Egg For Ajira Airways
It’s two more months before Lost returns to the airwaves, but ABC had released a new Lost video to tide fans over. A sneak peak of the video was shown on the Thursday, November 20 episode of Grey’s Anatomy, and the full video is now available online at ABC.com.
The Lost music video contains exclusive footage from the upcoming fifth season of Lost. The Fray’s new single, “You Found Me,” plays in the background as scenes from Lost flash across the scene. The single is from The Fray’s sophomore self-titled album, which is scheduled to be released on February 3, 2009.
The Fray was formed in 2002. The band consists of Isaac Slade (vocals, piano), Joe King (guitar, vocals), Ben Wysocki (drums) and Dave Welsh (guitar). The band has sold over 3.2 million albums worldwide.
The most interesting part of the video to Lost fans might be the easter egg that flashes briefly across the screen a couple of times. If the video is paused just right, a logo for an airline called Ajira Airways can be seen. The fictional airline of course has it’s own website, with the catch phrase “Destiny Calls.” Will this be the airline that helps the Oceanic 6 get back to the island?
The new season of Lost premieres on Wednesday, January 21 from 9 PM to 11 PM ET on ABC.
