'Ash Vs. Evil Dead' Gets A New Americanized, Blood-Drenched Poster

The official #AshvsEvilDead Season 2 poster is here. You're welcome, America [...]

For the second season of the comedy horror Ash Vs. Evil Dead, the series has debuted an all-new poster featuring Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) wielding his trusty chainsaw with a giant American flag flying in the background.

In the new poster, the catch phrase "Glory, Gory, Hallelujah" can be seen at the top of the image that features Ash, Pablo (Ray Santiago), Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Ruby (Lucy Lawless) pledging their allegiance to the American flag.

Season 2 will be set three decades after Evil Dead, and the deadites have returned to wreak more havoc. The series is set to kick off in October and will feature startling thrills, old friends and Bruce's signature playful humor.

For the upcoming installments to the popular show, Ash will be leaving Florida and return to his roots in Elk Grove. In addition to the cast's regulars from last season, the show will rope in Ash's father (Lee Majors), his high school sweetheart (Michelle Hurd), and the fan favorite Chet Kaminski (Ted Raimi), according to Empire.

The popular series and films got their start under the direction of Sam Raimi with the help of his brother Ivan. The brothers recently discussed a fourth Evil Dead movie, and what that would've looked like. The ideas that the Raimi bros came up were even more strange than you could have ever imagined. Check out that story here.

Season 2 will have 10 episodes with the premiere set for Sunday October 2 on Starz.
