When you think of M. Night Shyamalan, what's the first thing that comes to your mind? Giant plot twists? Seeing dead people? Paul Giamatti?

How about, animated Indian comedies?

No? Didn't think so.

After his praise from his latest film, The Visit, Shyamalan made a move to television production. His first series, Wayward Pines, was such a hit, that it looks like the filmmaker will be doubling down on his TV efforts.

According to Variety, 20th Century Fox has agreed to buy a script titled, Eleven Little Indians, from M. Night Shyamalan and Alex Carson, a writer and producer on Family Guy.

The report states that the series will center around three segments of an Indian family who exist in very different ways in the United States. One is living out the American Dream, one has just arrived to the states, and the third is out of control.

The move is a plot twist in and of itself, as it marks a departure from Shyamalan's typical style. He normally focuses on the dark and brooding, but Indians looks to be another light and humurous animated series to add to the already stellar line-up on Fox.

The project fits Alex Carter's style much more appropriately, as he has served as a part of Family Guy's creative time for a while now.

The two will executive produce the series, along with Ashwin Rajan.

M. Night Shyamalan is also producing the reboot of Tales From The Crypt for TNT, and Carter will serve as the writer for the live action comedy My Bad Parent, from producer John Krasinski.
