On Sunday, Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan was rushed to the ER after she "ripped" the bottom part of her finger off.
The accident happened while boating in the ocean near Turkey as the 30-year-old actress tried to pull up the vessel's anchor. When she attempted to pull it, the anchor dragged her overboard instead. As she thrashed in the water, Lohan became entangled in the line and struggled to break away.
When she climbed back into the boat, Lohan noticed something was missing...the tip of her ring finger. Somehow she had ripped part of her digit off in the incident, but luckily her friends were able to find it.
The surgeon at the hospital was able to promptly reattach her finger upon Lohan's arrival to the ER.
After the media reported on the unfortunate incident, Lindsay Lohan recently took to Twitter to clarify what exactly happened to her hand. "To make this very clear," she wrote. "The bottom part of my finger was ripped off. It was not 'chopped' or 'severed' off."

Lindsay Lohan also made light of the subject sharing a selfie on Instagram with the caption, "One handed selfie," and hashtag "#whatdayisit."
