The popular move for the WWE lately has been to bring back some of the legends who haven't returned to the ring for a long time. One of the most popular wrestlers of all-time, Kurt Angle, hasn't been with the WWE for a decade and it looks like it may never happen.

For the last ten years, Angle the 47-year-old wrestler has been a part of the WWE's main competitor, TNA/Impact Wrestling. However, when Angle's contract expired earlier this year, he decided not to re-sign with the company.

In recent years, Angle has made attempts to re-establish a relationship with WWE chairman Vince McMahon, according to Inquisitr. Angle's efforts have been in vain as Vince has not displayed any interest in bringing him back.

Since Angle's departure from the WWE in August of 2006, McMahon has not had much interest in bringing Angle back to the company mainly because of his well-known addiction problems that only became more intense when Angle joined TNA.

In regards to who comes back to the WWE, Paul Levesque (Triple H) has a say in the matter. However, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the decision to bring back Kurt Angle is up to Vince McMahon.

Meltzer recently tweeted, "All up to Vince. He's been very negative in the past, but mind can be changed."

Most recently, Kurt Angle admitted to leading an extremely dangerous lifestyle. He was taking a massive amount of drugs on top of drinking to suppress his physical pain after a series of injuries required that he take Vicodin, Xanax, and other prescription drugs.

Angle recently opened up about during an interview on the Dan Le Batard about when his health was the most at risk.

"I'd say when I was taking 65 extra strength Vicodin a day," Angle said. "I was on a lot, and there was no way I could get out of it. The only thing I could do is eventually go to rehab and try to fix my life again, but I actually beat it on my own."

Kurt continued, "Because I broke my neck a few times I got put on Xanax, because I was always getting nervous, so they put me on that. And when I went to TNA, everybody drank alcohol down there, so I started drinking with my meds, and then I would manipulate my meds… I would save them to the evening and then take them while drinking alcohol, which got me in a lot of trouble; four DUIs in five years."

Would you like to see the Vince McMahon and the WWE bring back Kurt Angle?
