American Horror Story's Piggy Man Revealed

The Piggy Man on FX's American Horror Story has finally been revealed. On the "Chapter 8" episode of this season, the fans were finally given background information on the terrifying character, and the Piggy Man is just as creepy as we imagined.

In the episode, Finn Wittrock's hillbilly cannibal Jether Polk tore through Lee's leg like it was beef jerky. Jether served two huge purposes in Wednesday night's episode when he revealed the Piggy Man's origins and managed to get Lee to confess to her husband's murder.

During a conversation between Jether Polk and a sliced up Lee, the audience learned that the original Piggy Man was actually Jether's ancestor: Kincaid Polk.

He was a pig farmer like the rest of the Polks, and he "used to take hogs to slaughter in Chicago." Kincaid was inspired by how the Butcher would place a pig head on the victims before roasting them, and decided to adorn himself with a pig head when he first began murdering people years back at the World's Fair.

Fans may recall that way back in Season 1, Eric Stonestreet's character, Derrick, explained the Piggy Man's origins. However, at the time, the fans could not tell whether the legend was real or simply a figment of his paranoia.

We don't how the Piggy Man became a ghost under the Butcher's control, but we do know that the Piggy Man is indeed real and is a Polk!

For all the AHS fans out there, showrunner Ryan Murphy recently dropped some huge news regarding the future of the series.

"We do know what we're going to do," Murphy said in front of the crowd in Los Angeles. "It's not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that's a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre."

Coven was the theme for the third season of AHS and premiered back in October 2013. Murder House, premiered two years later in October 2011.

The plot for Murder House followed Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott's characters after they relocated from Boston to Los Angeles. They are looking for a fresh start, and they come to find out that the new home that they've purchased is actually a haunted mansion surrounded by creepy neighbors.
