Writer/director James Gunn might be most well-known for helming Guardians of the Galaxy, one of 2015's top-grossing film and immediate fan-favorite in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, before tackling big-budget super hero escapades, Gunn gained a following for his work on horror films, like Slither, 2004's Dawn of the Dead, and the darkly comedic Super. Gunn went back to his roots by writing The Belko Experiment, which just got a brand-new trailer.
The film features a social experiment comprising of 80 Americans working at a corporate high-rise in Bogotá, Colombia when an autonomous voice announces that the workers must turn on one another if they hope to survive.
The Belko Experiment stars John Gallagher Jr., Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley Melonie Diaz, Sean Gunn, and Michael Rooker and is directed by Greg McLean.

McLean's work on the Wolf Creek films show how well he can combine carnage with comedy and Gunn has a long history of a razor-sharp wit in the world of dark comedies. Add the awesome talents of Rooker and Gunn's brother Sean and this looks Battle Royale meets You're Next in a twisted thought experiment.
