Former Supergirl Joins Saw: Legacy

Even though the Saw franchise already released its 'Final Chapter', the psychological horror films are making a return to the big screen later this year.

Almost nothing is known about the new Saw installment - titled Saw: Legacy, even though the film has already completed principle photography. The movie wrapped filming back in November with all of its secrets still intact.

Finally, some super details about the movie's cast have been released, and a familiar face to comic fans will grace the screen once the movie releases.

Laura Vandervoort has been announced as one of the film's leads, and many will remember the actress as a former Supergirl. Vandervoort played the character back on Smallville, and has even appeared in the new CW Supergirl series, but as the character Indigo. In addition to her super work, Vandervoort has appeared in many other projects, such as V, Bitten, Ballers, and Haven.

The casting announcement also revealed that actress Hannah Anderson had joined the Saw: Legacy cast. The actress has appeared in series' like Shoot The Messenger, Killjoys, and Gangland Undercover.

Saw: Lagacy is slated to hit theaters just before Halloween this year, debuting on October 27, 2017.
