Fans always enjoy seeing the Power Rangers sporting new costumes, but the Rangers took their outfits to another level in Power Rangers Zeo.
It became a bit of a tradition during the many seasons of Power Rangers to have a Halloween themed episode, but one of the best ensembles of costumes came during Power Rangers Zeo. In episode 24 "Bulk Fiction", the Rangers and the other Angel Grove citizens attend a charity ball, rocking some retro style costumes.
Zeo Red Ranger Jason David Frank gave fans a throwback with a photo from the episode, showing Tommy, Adam, Tanya, Kat, and Billy in some interesting getups. Tommy sticks out the most thanks to his John Travolta Saturday Night Fever themed ensemble, but Billy isn't far behind in his black and silver robe look, possibly being a wizard?
Adam took it back to the 60's with chops, an afro, and hippie gear, and sort of steals the show, but Kat's 50's look and Tanya's 1920's costume are both stunning as well. You can view the whole gang in the photo below.
The official description for "Bulk Fiction" is included below.
Prince Sprocket comes to Earth to fight the Zeo Rangers with his new toy, the Googleheimer robot.
Power Rangers Zeo debuted in 1996, and starred Jason David Frank (Tommy, Zeo Red), Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam, Zeo Green), Nakia Burrise (Tanya, Zeo Yellow), Catherine Sutherland (Kat, Zeo Pink), Steve Cardenas (Rocky, Zeo Blue), and David Yost as Billy Cranston in more of a guide role.
One of the most memorable parts of Power Rangers Zeo happened early on in the season. It was during that time that Tommy received a Dear John letter from Kimberly, effectively ending their relationship. It was pretty brutal to break up that way, especially for fans who saw the two blossom during the Mighty Morphin era.
"Well, Kimberly wrote me that letter," Frank told ET when asked why the two didn't work out. "Kimberly, you wrote me that freaking letter. It was, I did do that scene and people were really moved
Time heals everything it seems.
