The Klingons return in the fourth episode of Star Trek: Discovery, "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry."
CBS has released a batch of new photos offering a first look at the next installment of the CBS All Access streaming series. Take a look in the attached gallery.
The photos offer new looks at Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green), Lt. Saru (Doug Jones), Commander Ellen Landry (Rekha Sharma), Lt. Paul Stamets (Anthony Rapp), and Captain Gabriel Lorca (Jason Isaacs).
Some shots include a computer screen showing what looks like the outline of the body of the strange creature that Landry retrieved from the wreckage of the USS Glenn to add to Lorca's macabre menagerie.
There's also a shot of Klingon Battle Deck Commander L'Rell (Mary Chieffo). L'Rell was present on T'Kuvma's ship during the Battle at the Binary Stars. This shot seems to indicate that fans will find out something about what the Klingons have been up to in the six months since then.
After finally being introduced to the Discovery and its crew in last week's episode, "The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry" will see them continuing their research and efforts to quickly end the war with the Klingons, though many secrets still abound, such as whether this ship is someone tied to the mysterious organization called Section 31.
The Star Trek: Discovery cast will also be present at New York Comic Con for a panel this evening, and then another at PaleyFest. Keep an eye on ComicBook.com for coverage.
New episodes of Star Trek: Discovery become available Sundays at 8:30 pm ET on CBS All Access.
