The fall finale of Star Trek: Discovery, concluding the first chapter of the new Star Trek show's first season, will debut this Sunday, and fans now know exactly how long they'll have to wait for chapter two to begin.

Star Trek: Discovery will return on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The second chapter begins with the series' tenth episode, which we now know is titled "Despite Yourself."

In the episode, "While in unfamiliar territory, the USS Discovery crew is forced to get creative in their next efforts to survive opposing and unprecedented forces and return home."

For chapter two, Star Trek: Discovery will remain in its 8:30 p.m. ET Sunday night slot on CBS All Access through all six remaining episodes, concluding with the show's first season finale on February 11, 2018.

CBS All Access has already renewed Star Trek: Discovery for a second season.

Star Trek: Discovery follows the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new life forms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself. The series will feature a new ship and new characters while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

Star Trek Discovery's cast includes Sonequa Martin-Green, Doug Jones, Jason Isaacs, Anthony Rapp, Michelle Yeoh, Shazad Latif, Mary Wiseman, Mary Chieffo, James Frain and more.

Star Trek: Discovery is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Secret Hideout, Living Dead Guy Productions, and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.

New Star Trek: Discovery episodes become available to stream Sundays at 8:30 p.m. ET on CBS All Access.
