Debbie Reynolds, the mother of late Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher, has reportedly been rushed to the hospital for a possible stroke, according to TMZ.

Around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, a call was placed to 911 to report that Reynolds was in need of medical assistance. The 84-year-old was in Beverly Hills at her son, Todd Fisher's home to discuss funeral plans.

Sources close to Reynolds have reportedly said that she possibly suffered a stroke. She was rushed to an emergency room nearby.

Since her daughter's tragic passing on Tuesday morning, Reynolds has been completely distraught.

On Friday of last week, Fisher went into cardiac arrest while on a United flight. She was immediately taken to the UCLA medical center when the plane landed. However, many passengers on the aircraft said that they believed she died while on the plane.

Debbie Reynolds took to Facebook later in the day on Tuesday to give a statement following her daughter's death.

"Thank you to everyone who has embraced the gifts and talents of my beloved and amazing daughter," Reynolds wrote. "I am grateful for your thoughts and prayers that are now guiding her to her next stop."

Fisher's death was a devastating blow to her family, friends, and the Star Wars fans around the world. To pay tribute to the late actress, a slew of celebrities took to social media to share their condolences, including Fisher's former co-stars Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford.

"It's never easy to lose such a vital, irreplaceable member of the family, but this is downright heartbreaking," Mark Hamill wrote on Facebook. "Carrie was one-of-a-kind who belonged to us all- whether she liked it or not. She was OUR Princess, damn it, & the actress who played her blurred into one gorgeous, fiercely independent & ferociously funny, take-charge woman who took our collective breath away," he wrote.

Star Wars creator George Lucas also penned a statement about Carrie Fisher to describe how talented she was, and how her sparkling personality truly brought a sense of magic to the character he created.

"Carrie and I have been friends most of our adult lives," Lucas said in his statement. "She was extremely smart; a talented actress, writer and comedienne with a very colorful personality that everyone loved. In Star Wars she was our great and powerful princess - feisty, wise and full of hope in a role that was more difficult than most people might think. My heart and prayers are with Billie, Debbie and all Carrie's family, friends and fans. She will be missed by all."

We wish Debbie Reynolds a speedy and full recovery.
