The Star Wars fan community is desperate for any and all news about Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The movie formerly known as Episode VIII holds many secrets and mysteries fans are hoping to see solved, and the insiders at MakingStarWars.net are some of the best at uncovering at least some of those secrets. Possible spoilers follow.

In a report today from MSW, they recap the planets we'll see in The Last Jedi that we know of so far, and introduce a new one. The island world of Ahch-To, where Rey found Luke Skywalker at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, will of course be heavily featured in the film, and the speculation that it's Green and Blue, to reflect the most common Jedi lightsaber colors, is a fun one. It is, afterall, the site of the first Jedi temple, and that sort of thematic coloration is not one Star Wars has ever shied away from.

There's also a "casino planet," which is intriguing, and should serve as our view at the underworld of the sequel trilogy era. Perhaps that's where we'll meet the mystery "somewhat villainous" character that Benicio del Toro is playing? It would make sense.

Finally, they recently uncovered new information about a third planet, which sounds like it'll be the headquarters of the First Order, especially now that Starkiller Base has been destroyed. The planet is described as "Mars with snow on it," red but dusted in snow; what is it with the First Order and snow, aside from reflecting their cold demeanor? MSW also reports that the interiors of the building on this planet look similar to those on Starkiller Base. A new "Snowtrooper General" stormtrooper variant was also something they teased.

At the climax of The Force Awakens, Supreme Leader Snoke ordered General Hux to bring Kylo Ren (and he presumably stopped along the way for Captain Phasma) to him - and it sounds like this is where they'll be heading.

The tendency of Star Wars planets to be one environment - a city planet, a snow planet, a desert planet, a water planet, etc. - sounds like it'll be ever so slightly altered here, while still following some thematic elements. We'll know for sure in December.
