Dating back to the release of 1999's The Phantom Menace, Star Wars have shown their diligence to get to theaters as early as possible as to not miss anything, including lining up for tickets months in advance. Disney has struck a deal with National CineMedia and their launch of "Noovie," a 20-minute program that airs prior to trailers, which will eventually include behind-the-scenes looks The Last Jedi and the untitled Han Solo spinoff film.

Noovie will begin airing in theaters this Friday, sharing exclusive content for Coco, the upcoming Pixar film. The program will run at least through June 2018, with Disney teasing the program will include behind-the-scenes looks at Black Panther, A Wrinkle in Time, Avengers: Infinity War and The Incredibles 2.

Currently, the 20-minute program is called "FirstLook" and was previously called "The 2wenty."

"We spent a lot of time looking for something we could trademark, get the URLs for and all the social-media handles. We really like this name," National CineMedia CEO Andy England explained.

The program will also include commercials for products and other properties, with the most exciting footage airing closer to the beginning of the program.

"We want to give people a reason to arrive earlier. We want to dial up the entertainment value," England noted.

Disney will be responsible for providing Noovie with five minutes of content for each 20-minute program.

"There is no better showcase for our studio content than the big screen, and Noovie Backlot is a fresh way to give fans a fun and exclusive look at our slate of upcoming films," Disney executive David Sieden noted.

While there's no official date that reveals when we can expect to see behind-the-scenes footage from Star Wars films, fans will have to keep their eyes on filmmakers Rian Johnson and Ron Howard's social media accounts, as they've both offered subtle glimpses at their respective films.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters December 15.
