A brand new behind-the-scenes featurette was released for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, featuring director Rian Johnson revealing his feelings about the new film ahead of its release in two months.

The video, courtesy of USA Today, appears to be a companion piece to the video released at Disney's D23 Expo earlier this year, containing tons of new footage and hints toward the direction of the newest film in the Star Wars saga. Check it out above!

"Walking up the ramp, walking through the hallway," says Johnson, on a soundstage with the Millennium Falcon, "I flashback to when I was a kid with the action figures in the set. Suddenly I have, like, a big lump in my throat."

This isn't the first Star Wars goodie fans have received today, as a brand new photo featuring Luke Skywalker's mysterious library was also revealed.

One of the first big reveals from the video includes a shot of Finn dressed as a First Order officer, walking through the halls of a base. Rose is on one side, while it appears that the mysterious DJ, played by Benicio del Toro, is on the other side. This is our first confirmation that DJ goes along with Finn and Rose in their secret mission to infiltrate the First Order, and will likely lead to a ton more questions and speculation.

"It's like a real journey of discovery," says Mark Hamill in the video, commenting on Luke Skywalker's future in the Star Wars saga.

Another shot shows Rey wielding her bow staff in the rain, with the lighting appearing as if it is taking place in the same timeframe as when Luke Skywalker says "This is not going to go the way you think," in the new trailer. Sounds like there will be a major confrontation on Ahch-To.

After quick clips of Gwendoline Christie, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega complimenting Rian Johnson's direction, the footage cuts to Carrie Fisher speaking about the writer/director.

"He has flaws in other areas," says Fisher of Johnson, "I just don't know about them."

The end is punctuated with quick shots of Poe diving into a crevice on Crait as one of the speeders crashes around him, the horse-like Falthier in its stable, and Supreme Leader Snoke's throne room.

All in all, it's another great glimpse into the new film that's careful in revealing new information.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres on December 15.
