The question on every Star Wars fan's mind seems to be "Who is Snoke?" Well, what about "How is Snoke?"

At the media junket for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, I asked Andy Serkis that very question, determined to get to the dark heart of the First Order' Supreme Leader. Watch his response in the video above.

"He's really not very happy at the beginning of the movie because these guys," said Serkis, pointing at co-stars Gwendoline Christie and Domhnall Gleeson, "have really screwed things up. And he's in a bad place because Starkiller Base is completely screwed and things aren't going his way."

After the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Resistance delivered a crippling blow to the First Order. Christie's Captain Phasma was forced to lower Starkiller's shield generators, and Gleeson's General Hux oversaw the base's defense as they were destroyed by Resistance X-Wing starfighters.

"Everything's falling around his ears, the press has been terrible, and it looks like he's going to get impeached," Serkis said.

"But luckily he does a lot of yoga and meditation so he's kind of cool with it, right?" Gleeson added, sharing a laugh with his co-stars.

Serkis has begun opening up about his villainous character, revealing he is a frail creature dominated by vengeance.

"The thing about Snoke is that he is extremely strong with the Force, the dark side of the Force. He's terribly powerful, of course. But he is also a very vulnerable and wounded character," Serkis said to Entertainment Weekly. "He has suffered and he has suffered injury. The way that his malevolence comes out is in reaction to that. His hatred of the Resistance is fueled by what's happened to him personally."

And while Snoke is not a Sith Lord, Serkis said he is indeed darker than Emperor Palpatine… and possibly more powerful.

"He has limitless resources, let's put it that way," Serkis said to Empire Magazine.

Fans will finally get to know more about the Supreme Leader when Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres in theaters on December 15.
