New LEGO Sets Reveal Huge Plot Details For 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'

Lucasfilm is still being very secretive about anything to do with Solo: A Star Wars Story, but a recent leak of LEGO sets for the upcoming spinoff movie might have revealed some key details.

Photos of the new LEGO sets for the Han Solo movie have started to hit online, offering fans a look at the new (old) version of the Millennium Falcon, and some other ships from the Star Wars canon. Check them out below:

The LEGO sets are loaded with information about the new characters while also showing the appearances of fan favorites such as Han, Chewbacca, and Lando Calrissian. They also tease some plot details that could have huge implications for the upcoming Star Wars film.

The TIE Fighter set in particular could reveal a major plot point about the new movie considering it includes a Han Solo minifigure with the character disguised as an Imperial officer. But what exactly does this mean?

It could be related to a quick scene in the film, and LEGO sets are often deceptive about movie plots (such as the Doctor Strange set teasing the involvement of Shuma-Gorath in the film). But making a third separate design for the main character seems like it hinges on a plot point.

Actor Paul Bethany recently teased the plot of the film as being a "gangster" movie, and with the criminal element and the nature of Solo's smuggling nature, we can't help but thing it will have a lot in common with heist films. Perhaps the crew of the Millennium Falcon are tasked with swiping an important artifact from under the nose of the Empire?

There are also other important elements that are confirmed. The inclusion of the Corellian Hounds all but confirms that Han's home planet of Corellia will be featured in the new movie, which many widely assumed.

And while there's been no confirmation, the fact that the Millennium Falcon set is actually called the "Kessel Run Millennium Falcon," and even includes a Kessel Operations Droid, means were very likely to see firs than the very event that Han Solo bragged to Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi about in the very first film over 40 years ago.

All in all, the Han Solo movie is shaping up to be unlike any Star Wars film that's been released to date. Hopefully we get to see that first trailer sooner than later.
