Happy Birthday! Jeffrey Dean Morgan Turns 50 Today

Today is actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan's birthday.

Known by many fans as The Comedian/Edward Blake, Morgan played Alan Moore's twisted anti-hero in Zack Snyder's film adaptation of Watchmen. Morgan should also register in comic fans' minds as Clay in The Losers, the film adaptation of another Vertigo series. If all that wasn't enough, Morgan also scored the coveted role of Negan on The Walking Dead and started off his reign with a bang.

Morgan has also appeared in The Possession, The 2012 Red Dawn remake, and Supernatural. He even made an uncredited cameo as Jeb Turnbull in 2010's Jonah Hex film…but maybe he's better off not being officially associated with that movie. The actor is also well known for his time on Grey's Anatomy as Izzie's boyfriend Denny.
