The Walking Dead has come a long way in six years. Along the way, several characters have stolen our hearts and others have earned severe hatred. Either way, none of the fallen characters have been forgotten.

To celebrate the opening of The Walking Dead Attraction at Universal Studios Hollywood, several former cast members gathered (with Ross Marquand, whose Aaron character is still alive). On hand were Scott Wilson, Michael Traynor, Brighton Sharbino, and Kyla Kenedy who played Hershel, Nicholas, Lizzie, and Mika, respectively.

While at least one core character will be joining this list of former survivors to start season seven, this roster wasn't even lucky enough to make it to Negan's brutal introduction (or maybe, they were lucky enough not to). Talking to IGN at the ride's opening, the cast members shared their thought on what their character would do if they were around for Negan.

"I would think I would want to just stay with the kids," Wilson says. "The kids will be protected. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens the first episode of [Season] 7."

"Lizzie would go all crazy and stuff," Sharbino says of Lizzie. "They'd probably be hiding. They probably would be under a tree hiding," Kenedy chimes in, with Sharbino adding, "I would think running."

"Nicholas, in the great coward's defense, he was good with humans. He almost took out Glenn, and Glenn's a wily dude," said Traynor. "It was just the walkers that unnerved him. It was the whole undead shambling mounds with the guts coming out of you saying 'mmm you're tasty.' Potentially [he would have been helpful with Negan], which makes me even hate him more. A few more minutes, maybe Glenn would have had a solution, you would have been fine."

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October.
