Talking Dead and @midnight host and comedian Chris Hardwick was married over the weekend to Lydia Hearst, the actress, model, and heiress to the Hearst family fortune. The couple was wed on Saturday at The Langham Huntington luxury resort hotel in Pasadena, California.
The event was attended by several geek culture celebrities, including Firefly's Nathan Fillion, Community's Yvette Nicole Brown, and Final Girl director Tyler Shields. Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Michelle Trachtenberg, a close friend of Hearst's, served as a bridesmaid.
Prior to the wedding, both Hardwick and Hearst expressed their feelings via social media. Hardwick shared a kiss from the wedding rehearsal on Instagram. He also showed off one of the nerdier touches to the event, water bottles with the couple's initials in the shape of a TARDIS from Doctor Who.

On her own Instagram account, Hearst shared a fairytale-like photo, writing "I'm so lucky to have found my Prince Charming."

About a week earlier, Hearst shared a black and white photo of her wedding dress from the back, captioning it with, "I am truly blessed to have you in my life @hardwick. I love you, and I will never stop loving you. I cannot wait to marry you in one week." About a month prior to that, she shared a similar photo of Hardwick from his tuxedo fitting, writing, "You are the best thing that has happened to this world, in my eyes. You are truly one of a kind @Hardwick. In exactly one month from now, I will be walking down the aisle, and we will be husband and wife. You are a constant source of inspiration and give me reason to strive for more of everything. With you, my heart has finally found a home, and my heart is forever yours. I just love EVERYTHING about you, and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you!!!"
