AMC has shocked - and confused - the entire Walking Dead fan community this week. On the show's official Facebook page, the network shared a group of cryptic images from the second half of the show's seventh season.
While some of these just look creepy, others could possibly be hinting at key plot points to come. For example, the photo of the empty grave is pointing toward someone's death, there's just no telling who's it could be.
Another one of these photos seems to be revealing the first look of a master-plan that got a lot of attention following the midseason finale.
Remember the redirect project that Fat Joey was supposedly in charge of? It was said he was using trip wires and other various explosives to lure an enormous herd of walkers away from the Sanctuary. With that in mind, take another look at those photos.
Anything stand out?
One of the images focuses on a set of dynamite tied to a small rope, and the explosives seem to be pulled tight, horizontally. With a group of walkers as big as that herd is said to be, a small trip wire probably wouldn't be enough. Plus, the wires don't exactly need to be hidden from the creatures.
This picture is likely part of Joey's redirect project. With that much dynamite, it's easy to think that the walkers could be swayed in their direction. One after another, these traps are supposed to be leading the herd away from all of the character's the show has been following.
It looks like Fat Joey is still putting in work from beyond the grave, may he rest in peace.
