The cast and crew of The Walking Dead are flocking to Georgia to begin production on the show's eighth season.
In doing so, some of the cast members are getting quite excited on social media. While some have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to reading the first scripts, others are sharing behind-the-scenes photos like Norman Reedus. Reedus shared a photo of himself with Melissa McBride on set of the AMC series. The photo, embedded below, is likely from production of the Season 7 finale, seeing as Gale Anne Hurd's Twitter indicates that the group was only just getting back together the same day this photo was posted.

The "Ahem" caption has been looked at two ways by the comment section. Some see it as an, "Is this thing on?" type of introduction to Season 8's production while others see it as Reedus calling out Carol actress Melissa McBride for looking at his butt!
Photos for Season 8 likely won't be released until the mid-summer if The Walking Dead's marketing train will be following the same tracks as previous seasons. However, Reedus has released photos in the past which were from upcoming episodes before having to delete them. Captioning a photo, "Season 6 finale," Reedus unveiled the first look at himself and Andrew Lincoln in the Season 7 premiere which showed Lincoln's Rick character having the blood of Abraham Ford on his face. Whoops!
Either way, we're all ready for Daryl and Carol to be together again as The Walking Dead heads into its All Out War story arc this fall.
