With a new episode of Fear the Walking Dead set to air on Sunday night, the characters residing in AMC's zombie apocalypse are at risk of becoming a smaller group.
The title of Sunday's episode is "El Matadero," with a synopsis reading, "Alicia encounters a potential ally; Ofelia fights for survival; Nick uses his skill set for profit."
Previously, Alicia Clark elected to venture away from the group on a solo journey, claiming moving in numbers put everyone in more danger. Meanwhile, Nick and Troy have elected to follow her. While this season has already proven that no one is safe in killing Travis Manawa to start the new episodes and both Jake and Jeremiah Otto more recently, the reaper never seems to be too far away from anyone on Fear.
So, who is in danger and who is safe...
Madison- Safe. Madison continues to control Fear the Walking Dead. She came to the rescue in Episode 3x13, putting her survival skills on display, and might have a cousin on the east coast she is destined to reunite with.
Alicia- Safe. While Alicia is venturing through the apocalypse on a solo mission, this new "ally" sounds promising. She has evolved into one of the best equipped survivors on Fear the Walking Dead and will continue to make smarter decision while doing what is necessary to get by,
Nick- Safe. Following his sister on her solo mission, Nick will remain safe and embrace the role of protector.
Troy- Safe. Troy is completely unaffected by the loss of his father and brother, apparently. Still, he is a valuable tool when it comes to surviving and seems like he might somewhat regret leading the herd to the Ranch.
Qaletaca- Danger. Having lost all of his Nation clan, Qaletaca may feel little reason to continue. He will likely be angry and find a unique method to handle his grieving process, possibly taking it out on others, but he his possible instability puts his status in "danger."
Ofelia- Safe. Ofelia has become a worthy survivor of the zombie apocalypse, similar to Alicia, and has a reunion with her father on the horizon. She's not quite as "safe" as Daniel but doesn't have any threats directly before her.
Daniel- Safe. Like Ofelia, Daniel can't go anywhere before the family reunion, but he is in a much safer position to survive to see it. The character is a high ranking member at the dam formerly ruled by Dante and more aware of his surroundings and capable to handle them than anyone near him.
Strand- Safe. Strand continues to put himself first and doing what it takes to survive.
