On The Bakshi Report, Sunil Bakshi reports on the attack at the Hydra camp that resulted in the Patriot's death.
Daisy completes here Terrigenesis and emerges from her cocoon fully healed. She and May fight their way out of the Hydra office but encounter Madame Hydra and her guards at the elevator. Daisy uses her powers to send Madame Hydra flying out the window.
AIDA awakens in the real world and tells the Superior about what has transpired in the Framework. The Superior points a gun at May, but he can't shoot. AIDA built him with the same prime directive that she has, which demands that she protect this group of people. However, because Simmons and Daisy hacked the Framework, they can be killed, and so she sends the Superior to find them in the real world.
The SHIELD resistance debate what they should do next now the Patriot is dead. They can't seem to come to an agreement, and Coulson worries that this spells doom for SHIELD. Bakshi reports Daisy's escape as a terrorist attack on Madame Hydra's life.
As they walk, May tells Daisy about what happened to the Patriot.
Fitz and his father, Alistair, find Ophelia in her bed. Alistair encourages Fitz to strike back, reminding him that he is the head of Hydra now. He agrees to send a message that betrayal will not be tolerated.
Fitz meets with Bakshi at the Triskellion. Bakshi angles for an interview with Ophelia, but Fitz refuses. Bakshi says he'll play footage to placate that public, but Fitz wants the public to be afraid. Bakshi publicly announces that Daisy and Quake were the ones who tried to kill Madame Hydra.
Ward tells Coulson that he's taking a team to find Skye. Coulson cautions him against it, but Ward doesn't take him seriously. Coulson tells Ward about how he was invited to join SHIELD when he graduated and he passed because he was afraid. Now he thinks he made a mistake. Ward tells Coulson that he was recruited by Victoria Hand.
May and Daisy see their faces on a billboard as they steal a car.
Simmons examines the Project Looking Glass schematics Trip took from Hydra. She recognizes as it as Darkhold technology that's even more advanced than what they had in the real world. Trip heard something about an oil rig in the Baltic and Simmons believes Madame Hydra is working with the Superior.
Daisy and May approach the Resistance point of contact. A Hydra vehicle followed them and opens fire. They manage to blow up the vehicle and duck inside.
Burrows tells Mack and Coulson that a field agent made contact with someone, but did not identify who. Coulson and Mack decide to go check it out.
May and Daisy barricade themselves inside and tend to the wounded field agent. May tells Daisy that she was the one who ordered the air strike that got the Patriot killed. Daisy is understanding
Fitz sits by Ophelia's bedside. She's still in a coma. Alistair tells Fitz that Bakshi's expose is yielding results and they're closing in on May and Daisy. Ophelia wakes up and tells Fitz to finish Project Looking Glass.
Hydra forces move in May and Daisy, but they take them by surprise. Mack and Coulson show up in time to provide backup, but Mack doesn't trust May. Coulson intervenes and they all head back to base.
Simmons and Trip find the oil rig that is hiding Project Looking Glass beneath it, except it isn't there. She realizes that it's being built in the real world. Simmons realizes that AIDA has found a way to create a new human body. If she inhabits it, she'll be able to circumvent her programming.
Alistair informs Fitz that May and Daisy escaped. Fitz gets angry and yells at his father, but Alistair is unphased and intimidates Fitz into backing down. He assures Fitz that he'll find the traitors, but Fitz warns Alistair that he can't tolerate failure even from his own father.
Coulson's group arrives back at base. Ward and Daisy have a talk about the other world. She asks him to trust her. Ward is disappointed that it's true and calls her Daisy for the first time.
Alistair interrogates Radcliffe. Alistair knows Radcliffe is from the other world. Radcliffe mocks Alistair over how pathetic he is the real world and how he's only going to disappoint Fitz in this world two. Alistair beats Radcliffe.
SHIELD examines May's body cam footage. They plan to show it to the public. Daisy tells them that Radcliffe told her how to get out, but Ward and May still don't follow. They just want to fight Hydra. Coulson believes they can't do one without the other, and so they'll have to defeat Hydra here to go home. SHIELD storms Bakshi's studio and takes control.
Fitz tells Ophelia that Project Looking Glass's design is finished. Fitz' one request is that Ophelia takes him with her.
May and Coulson share a moment backstage while Coulson is preparing to go on the air. Ward offers to sacrifice himself to keep the signal going as long as possible. He says he knows that he's not going back with them and that he doesn't want them to think he's anything like the Ward from their world. Daisy says she didn't totally understand her Ward until she met this Ward, and that maybe there was some good in him all along.
Ward sends the signal out as the rest of SHIELD leaves the station. May's footage airs and Coulson explains everything that's happening. People rally at the station and Coulson reveals himself to be an agent of SHIELD.
AIDA promises the Superior that once the machine is completed their restrictions will be lifted. He's located the jet with Daisy and Simmons on board.
