Act II
Sara and Amaya are talking when the latter says she can't go back with the team. As Sara is about to leave, Amaya asks whether Nate would know she's coming back and Sara says he'll be thrilled.
The two ladies board the Waverider, and Nate gives her quite the cold reception. Ray gives the two his shrink ray, so they can stop the sabretooth tiger.
Nate and Jax find a bar so that the former can drown his sorrows.
Tracking the tiger through the forest, the two ladies eventually come across the beast and they're stopped in their tracks.
Back at the bar, PT Barnum is discussing with one of his performers that the circus is going to have to close up shop because their main attraction has disappeared. Conveniently enough, a drunken Nate gets in a fight and reveals to PT that he can turn to steel.
PT approaches Nate and the drunk informs the circus promoter they're all superheroes with abilities and they're all invited back to the performers tent.
In the jungle, Sara and Amaya find shrink the sabretooth tiger to the size of a kitten.
On their way to the performer's tent, Ray and Jax are knocked unconscious and a hungover Nate and is waken by Sarah and Amaya in the cargo bay, where they question him on the disappearance of his friends.

The next day, Ray and Jax wake up and confront PT Barnum about what's going on. They try to convince him that they can't turn into their superhero alter egos and the promoter doesn't budge.
While looking for the missing pair, Sara, Nate, and Amaya realize they're being watched. Sara approaches the mysterious guy and finds out it's Gary, a Time Agent.
Back on the Waverider, Mick is making a sandwich and the miniature sabretooth tiger begins whining, and he lets it out of its cage, and it escapes.
Amaya and Nate find Ray and Jax only to get shot by darts that render them unconscious.

They're but in another cage and Amaya reveals that she can't use her totem to break out. She reveals that she left after seeing her granddaughter — the new Vixen — save several lives in Detroit. She went back in time so that time didn't solidify so she could allow her granddaughter to still be born.
Gary's boss, Agent Sharpe, calls to check in and he reassures her — at gunpoint from Sara — that the Legends have everything under control.
As Sara and Stein go to leave the ship to find their teammates, Sharpe boards the ship. Sara persuades Stein to get Rory so they can find the teammates, while Sara stays behind to confront Sharpe.
prevnextAct V
Sharpe informs Sara that the whole team is under arrest and the two proceed to fight in the hallway.
Stein and Rory attend the circus in an attempt to find their missing teammates and it's revealed that Mick suffers from coulrophobia — the fear of clowns.
Barnum brings out The Ying and Yang — the new performance name of Ray and Jax's act — and they perform to boos from the crowd.
Behind the stage, Barnum threatens to shoot Amaya to get Nate to steel up.
Sara and Sharpe are still fighting on the Waverider and after the two decide they're too winded, they decide to take a break. While they're getting a drink, the miniature sabretooth walks by and instantly grows back into its normal size. It chases Sharpe and Sara's able to teleport the two to safety.
Back at the circus, Barnum is busy shooting at Nate and Amaya uses her totum to turn into a bear and break out of her cage, making Barnum stop.
In front of the stage, Martin has painted his face to blend in as a clown, but is soon outed by the other clowns. Martin and Jax touch and turn into Firestorm as Amaya chases Barnum onto the stage, nearly killing him.
Nate is able to talk Amaya down from finishing Barnum off and tells Amaya to come back to him.
prevnextAct VI
All of the Legends are back on the Waverider, and Gideon tells Agent Sharpe that that the area is now anachronism-free.
Sara pulls Sharpe to the side, talking to her about fixing the timeline. Sara approaches her about her comment earlier, where she wouldn't tell the team what the bigger threat there would face.
Sharpe tells Sara they can't know and takes Gary as they go back to the Time Bureau.
Nate tells Amaya that after her earlier explanation of going back in time, he feels more at ease with her doing it. Amaya calls the team together and tells them about the soldiers she killed in last week's episode, detailing how she ripped the child soldiers to shreds. Her totem has grown in power, and she has been having an issue taking control of it. The team then agrees that since they have one thing they're bad at, they agree to let her stay with the team momentarily.
Sara then tells the group that the Time Bureau is hiding something from them, a bigger threat than they've ever faced before. The group instantly bursts into laughter, thinking it can't be worse than anything they've ever faced before.
We see a jungle and a hooded figure is seen performing a ritual. A body made of water forms out a lake and eventually turns into a woman that the hood addresses as Kuasa. The hood tells Kuasa that they have work to do.
