During last night's WWE Survivor Series, Smackdown LIVE general manager, Shane McMahon, appeared to be legitimately injured after taking a vicious spear from Roman Reigns while attempting a coast-to-coast dropkick from the top turnbuckle.

Roman's spear appeared to catch Shane high, bouncing McMahon's head off the mat. During the attempted three count, the referee noticed the vacant look in Shane's eyes and waived for the doctors to come from the back. The hit appeared to be so serious that Randy Orton broke kayfabe to console Shane McMahon's kids, who were sitting in the front row.

Randy confirmed the encounter with Shane's family on Twitter after the Survivor Series went off the air.

Earlier in the match, Shane landed an insanely beautiful elbow drop from the top rope to Braun Strowman, who was laying on the German announce table. Many people had questioned the inclusion of Shane McMahon on Team Smackdown's 5 on 5 Survivor Series team, but as always, Shane O Mac reminded us all of his value to the business.

It remains to be seen whether Shane will appear on Tuesday's Smackdown LIVE. We'll keep you posted on the severity of Shane's injury as news comes in.
