As far as "bring your kid to work" days go, Goldberg had one for the ages. After a 12 year abscence from the WWE, Goldberg brought his 10 year old son, Gage, to the Survivor Series to witness an 86 second devastation of The Beast, Brock Lesnar.

During Goldberg's first return speech on RAW, he made it clear that his biggest motivation for a comeback was to get the chance to become a superhero for his son. In a wrestling world full of anti-heroes, the thought of a man trying to be a positive example for his son choked up even the most cynical of die hard fans.

After the shocking victory over Lesnar, Gage was the first person Goldberg found in the crowd. The two shared a heartwarming embrace that added a sentimental touch to the historic moment. A shirtless Gage then jumped the barrier and entered the ring to share a posedown with his father and the sold out Toronto crowd.

In a new interview with Brian Campbell at ESPN, Goldberg talked about how special the "once in a lifetime" moment was:

Firstly, I really don't know why he pulled his shirt off in the stands anyway.

At the end of the day, it was hilarious. I couldn't have asked for a better way to write the story. I mean, I really couldn't have. You hope and you wish and you dream for the right things to happen and everything to fall into place. But I never could have imagined for it to work out like this.

Thankfully, Brock Lesnar didn't come back into the ring to break up the celebration with an F5 to young Gage. It would have gotten some pretty awesome heat, but instead, Goldberg and his son were able to share one of the greatest father son moments in WWE history. Every dad wants to be a superhero for their kid but few will ever get the chance to live out that dream in front of millions of people.

Who knows what impact this will have on Goldberg's son. Maybe 20 years from now we'll be chanting GAGEBERG as the 50th annual Survivor Series comes to a close.
