EXCLUSIVE: The Miz Reveals WrestleMania Goal
Only two weeks after being dealt to RAW, The Miz and Maryse have taken over Monday Nights. The duo [...]
When asked if he had ever said anything that went a little too far, The Miz said he usually doesn't know what is going to come out of his mouth.
"I black out. When I kind of start going and start spouting off at the mouth, 90% of the time I don't know what I just said. I have to go watch it back to see and my mouth just goes. It's hard to explain. When my mouth starts going, my brain filters it through and lets things fly out and half the time I don't know what I'm saying and I'm just going. It's all pure adrenaline."
One of The Miz's biggest adversaries over his career has been SmackDown Live General Manager, Daniel Bryan. The Miz blew away the WWE Universe with his verbal attack on Bryan last year on Talking Smack and he has continued to taunt the retired former WWE Champion by using much of his signature offense moves. We asked Miz if he still held out any hope for a future match with Bryan and unsurprisingly, the answer was YES!
"Of course, are you kidding me? To get him back in the ring and beat him, that would be great."
Now back on Raw, Miz told us who he was most excited to step in the ring with.
"The Universal Champion. I want the championship. I need a title. I need the WWE Universal title and one of the main reasons is that it's the only one I haven't held."
While The Miz has accomplished nearly everything once could accomplish in a WWE career, including defeating John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 27, he revealed what goals still motivate him.
"Main event WrestleMania. Every time you go to WrestleMania you want to be the main event, the main talk. You want people to be looking at you on the Grandest Stage Of Them All. Even right now on Monday Night Raw, my goal is to be in the main event of WrestleMania next year."
The Miz will kick-off this Sunday's WWE Payback pay per view with a special Miz TV featuring Finn Balor as his guest.
The Marine 5: Battleground is out on digital now, and is available on Blu-ray and DVD today, April 25, from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment and WWE Studios.
