Fire Pro Wrestling World is bringing back the long-runnign series' signature grappling style and intense wrestling action this summer. In fact, you'll be able to start playing sooner than any of us originally thought! Spike Chunsoft revealed today that Fire Pro Wrestling World will enter Early Access on Steam on July 10. Check out the delightfully retro trailer above.

You'll notice from the tweet that you will have to pay $19.99. Early Access doesn't mean free. This isn't a beta or tech test. This is literally you getting Early Access to the full game in its current state, and you get to enjoy it before the official release date. You're also likely to run into a few bugs, and you'll be expected to report those. If you don't mind the early build, this is a great way to get a leg up on the competition and get some practice in before anyone else.

Fire Pro Wrestling is a long running wrestling series out of Japan that focuses more on grappling than anything else. Players will have to use carefully-timed button presses and strategy to better their opponents in the ring using a variety of wrestlers, some of whom bear a striking resemblance to famous WWE stars. It's a totally retro, totally arcade approach to wrestling. Easy to learn, difficult to master.
