Deathlok #1 Preview

Marvel Comics has released a preview of Deathlok #1, the issue of the new ongoing series from writer Nathan Edmondson (Black Widow, The Punisher) and artist Mike Perkins (Captain America, Stephen King's The Stand).

The series follows Henry Hayes, a single parent and veteran field medic. Hayes travelled to war torn regions to help to heal the sick and wounded, unaware that he has been transformed into the violent killing machine known as Deathlok.

Rented out to the highest bidder, Hayes travels the globe toppling dictators and destabilizing regimes – his memories erased after each mission – at the whim of his mysterious corporate masters. As he slowly uncovers the truth about his existence, he'll struggle with the truth of what he has become, as he tries to expose the legacy of the many Deathloks that came before him.

Deathlok #1 goes on sale in October.
