Presumably drawing inspiration from San Francisco's famous "Batkid" adventure, a boy in Kansas City got to be Batman for a day courtesy a nonprofit group called Boost recently.

According to the local CBS affiliate (you can see the story embedded below), 6-year-old Isaac Walker became the center of attention, apprehending The Joker and The Riddler while dressed as the Caped Crusader.

Isaac's brother Nathan was born without an immune system and has undergone chemotherapy and a bone-marrow transplant.

"We've had a long journey, and Isaac's been in the shadows, and to have a day where he's the star, and he's the one that special, I hope it's a day of healing," said the boys' mother, Karen Walker.

She said she can't thank everyone enough for helping make this whole thing possible.
