20th Century Fox has released first official trailer to Spy, Paul Feig's new comedy/action film.

Starring Melissa McCarthy, the film follows Susan Cooper, an unseasoned desk analyst for the CIA who's called into the field for a covert operation. With the world counting on Cooper to find and dismantle a nuclear weapon, she must quickly learn the ways of international spying and espionage. McCarthy is joined by Hollywood stars like Jason Statham, Jude Law, Bobby Cannavale, and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

You can check out the trailer below.

Here's the official synopsis.

Susan Cooper (Melissa McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions. But when her partner (Jude Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Jason Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.

After Spy, Feig will move on to the highly anticipated Ghostbusters remake, which will feature a new team of all-female Ghostbusters in a rebooted universe. Melissa McCarthy, Feig's consistent acting partner, is rumored to be in contention for a starring role, should her schedule allow it.

Spy hits theaters on May 22.
