Ben Affleck Nominated For Inaugual Razzie Reedemer Award

With Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice on the horizon and a lot of cynical fans looking back to the worst elements of Ben Affleck's career to justify their frustrating as his casting, the Golden Raspberry Awards are going the other way.

Affleck was nominated for the first-ever Redeemer Award, for performers who have been "razzed" in the past, but who have redeemed themselves with better work.

Affleck, who was given the Razzie for his performance in Gigli, joins fellow nominees Jennifer Aniston (a four-time Razzie nominee), Mike Meyers (a recipient for Love Guru), Keanu Reeves (six-time nominee) and Kristen Stewart (who, as you'd expect, won for Twilight). Each of them has a critical darling that sees them on Oscar shortlists this year.

While this seems like it would be the first time ever the Razzies had a nominee who would be excited to receive the award, Oscar and Razzie double threat Halle Berry begs to differ...
