The Marvel and Attack on Titan crossover is heading stateside later this year, as part of Marvel's Free Comic Book Day 2015 output.

Marvel delivered the news during today's Live Secret Wars presentation, finally giving the answer that many U.S.-based Marvel and Titan fans had wondered since November. The crossover between The Avengers, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and Japan's venerable manga franchise was published exclusively through the Japanese magazine Brutus just days after Marvel revealed its existence on Twitter, but never made it onto U.S. comic shelves.

The mashup was plotted by Attack on Titan's creator Hajime Isayama, with a script by Marvel talent scout and occasional writer C.B Cebulski and art by Gerardo Sandoval. In the out-of-cannon story, "Attack on Avengers," Marvel's heroes clash with the Female Titan character in New York City.

The Attack on Titan/Marvel Crossover will hit comic shops with Marvel's other Free Comic Book Day offerings on Saturday, May 2nd.
