Minions Meet Godzilla In New Promo

A new ad for Toho Cinemas sees the Minions of Despicable Me fame meet Godzilla.

In an animated short that is not nearly as reverent to the canon of the classic Bambi Meets Godzilla as all things should be, a group of Gru's evil minions are playing around when Toho's most famous creature walks by.

The Minions have their own movie (with Sandra Bullock) coming in 2015. 

As it turns out, Minions have existed since the beginning of time. They have evolved from single (yellow) cell organisms into the familiar beings we know, and they live for a collective purpose: to seek out and serve the most despicable master they can find. Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock will lead the voice cast of the human characters as Scarlett Overkill, the world's reigning super-villain of the 1960s.

Minions sees Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin directing, with Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm starring. You can check out the film's first official trailer below.

It opens July 10.
